Rodolfo Grandi was born in Italy in 1939 and has lived in Argentina since his youth. Although he has worked with various artistic media such acid etched metals and paint, he has devoted his talents to hand-tooling leather since 1967. During his career, he has participated in many art fairs and competitions receiving:

Maestro Grandi works with sole leather and uses hammer/punch and chisel techniques to create his incredible wearable art designs. He complements them by using dies of his formulation that penetrate the leather, but are transparent at the same time. Each piece is polished by hand with lacquer, alcohol and wax. This unusual combination of technical know-how and creativity result in unique and beautiful one-of-a-kind handbags. Maestro Grandi's signature appears on all his work.
